This position involves working mostly with senior citizens. Employee will work with the client to choose a menu each week. You will then go shopping for the necessary food items and prepare the food in the client home. Food is packaged in provided microwavable containers then refrigerated or frozen . The relationship building with the client is perhaps the most important part of this position. You will work with the same clients on a regularly scheduled day and time each week. NO WEEKENDS! This employee must have at least two days per week available on a consistent basis. Employees are currently paid a fixed fee per client visit. The employee will normally visit two to three clients per day depending on availability. This is a great opportunity to supplement your current income. Great flexibility in schedule. Excellent opportunity for the entrepreneur or someone who is working part-time elsewhere. Position could lead to a full-time slot for the right candidate. There are also opportunities to work on high-end catered functions, as needed, on an hourly basis. A set of pots, pans and basic utensils will be provided to the employee to be used for the duration of employment. Employee will furnish their own knife kit. Company will furnish the first set of uniforms. Additional uniforms may be purchased at cost through employer. Due to the current high cost of gasoline, a $7.50/trip stipend is paid in addition to the fixed fee. The stipend will continue until the price of gasoline stabilizes.
All employees must undergo a routine background check before final hire decision is made. All employees must be certified Serv-safe at a minimum level of food handler. Manager level is preferred. Due to the nature of our clientele, all employees must be able to show proof of vaccination and suggested boosters against the Covid-19 virus.
